Happy Birthday Papito...

Yup...its my daddy's turn! There's something so special about a father and daughter relationship. I mean, regardless that he's not perfect...he is in my eyes and I love him so! I'm so proud to have him as my dad. I could remember when I first got married and we purchased our house, Irv and I had frequent trips to Home Depot. I'm not exagerating when I say we ran into him almost every time, the man practically lives there! I cannot tell you the feeling I'd get everytime I'd see him. I promise I'd get all teary eyed (whatever, i'm a wierdo) but I just got soo happy to see him! Til this day everytime I drive into Home Depot I'm looking for his truck! Anyway, I truly am blessed to have such a special man to call my father. He is such a hard worker and I've always seen how he has supported our family financially, spiritually, and emotionally and I love and respect him so much for that and today, on his day, I just wanted to say...

"Te amo Papi...con todo mi corazon! Dios te bendiga hoy y siempre! Muah!"

Party at Mary's house...I got your 7up dad!

xMargie, Great blogs on our parents! You make the rest of us look bad! You have taken the most awesome pictures them. Plus you are so eloquent with your words and I know they come from the heart! I'm so proud of you! How you have evolved in your photography! WOW! And your pages are absolutely beautiful! And you have the audacity to say you are not creative. Keep it up! Love to see your work! Your 2nd oldest sister, Ely (the pretty one) LOL!

Love the new blog look! What a beautiful, heartfelt post. I could just imagine you all at Home Depot crying your eyes out as you run toward each other's arms like in the movies... OK, not exactly, but that's what popped into my mind!!! Happy Birthday to your Dad!!!! HUGS!!!!!!

Margie,

Thanks so much for the kind words you left on my blog. It's so nice that you took out the time to leave a comment. I just read some of yours and I have to agree with other posters that you have a great way with your words and the love for your family comes across strong. Hope you have a nice day!
