Have you ever...

Been a little scared to do something that you know you are capable of doing? That's where I'm at right now. I have some wonderful opportunities coming my way soon and I'm a tad bit nervous, but I know I can do it and I'm super excited about it. I promise I'll share in detail later...after it's done! (Hee hee...I'm so bad).

Okay, so a whole week has passed since my last post. That's a long time. So much happens in a week. Problem with all this is that, so much happens and I just don't know what to post about! I wish I could post everyday, or every couple of days, time however is the problem with that. I'm going to try a little harder since some people are saying they wished I blogged more often (well then!). Can't make any promises though. It would be for a good cause though. Why you may ask...well I'm up to something. I've been wanting to start a journal for the longest but have never started. Can anyone guess why? Yup, TIME. So, what I decided to do is use my blog post and make a scrapbook out of them. I'll use the post as my journaling (I'll probably add some more personal detail if necessary on certain pages) and the pics I use on the post and voila! A journal slash scrapbook! That's the idea...lets see how it turns out in real life! Ha!

Before I go...HAPPY BIRTHDAY ADY!

Okay, this is it for today but can't leave without posting a fews pics...

Rain, Sun, & Summer time Fun!

Loving the weather here in Miami! There's been some rain lately, which I totally don't mind. I love it when it rains. I so get in the mood to open the shades/curtains and read a book, watch a movie...you know...not do anything strenuous! There's usually one thing missing when it rains though...Irving. I wish he were home with us to enjoy those cozy moments but, someone's gotta bring home the bacon! (I love you babe). Anyway, late last week was perfect for outdoors though. Caleb had been asking me to take him to the park with the glasses (the binocular looking gadgets), so...I did! Kids had fun and so did mom! I love watching them mingle with other kiddies. Took lots of pictures and sweated a lot. This time I was the cool mom that turned the tree looking merry go round over, and over, and over, and over again! "Do it again" they'd say...and I did! I tell you, the things us mothers do for our children. Think I lost a couple pounds that day! Well, since it was so hot that day, I decided to take them to the pool the next day. That was lots of fun to. We had the pool all to ourselves. Water and weather were perfect! Not too hot, not too cold! Woohoo! Happy moments.

Well, on a side note, lots has been going on lately. Exciting and not so exciting stuff but hey, that's life right? Keep the Bonilla crew in your prayers. We have lots of plans and well, hopefully they align with what God has planned for us! Hasta luego! (Til next time)

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jer 29:11

Happy Birthday Papito...

Yup...its my daddy's turn! There's something so special about a father and daughter relationship. I mean, regardless that he's not perfect...he is in my eyes and I love him so! I'm so proud to have him as my dad. I could remember when I first got married and we purchased our house, Irv and I had frequent trips to Home Depot. I'm not exagerating when I say we ran into him almost every time, the man practically lives there! I cannot tell you the feeling I'd get everytime I'd see him. I promise I'd get all teary eyed (whatever, i'm a wierdo) but I just got soo happy to see him! Til this day everytime I drive into Home Depot I'm looking for his truck! Anyway, I truly am blessed to have such a special man to call my father. He is such a hard worker and I've always seen how he has supported our family financially, spiritually, and emotionally and I love and respect him so much for that and today, on his day, I just wanted to say...

"Te amo Papi...con todo mi corazon! Dios te bendiga hoy y siempre! Muah!"

Party at Mary's house...I got your 7up dad!

I'm back!

It's been a while! Haven't blogged since my mom's bday...whoa! Well, I've been pretty busy around here. Summer's here and well, my niece (Jacqueline) stayed over for more than a week. I kinda felt special! She stretched that week out as long as she could, but it had to come to an end today. I had a nice time with her though. She helped me out with the kids a lot while I did some cleaning. Thanks for all your help Jacqueline! Love you!

Anyways, lots has happened since my last post. On Saturday June 28, I had the wonderful opportunity to teach a scrap booking class at a Teen Challenge womens center in Broward. Teen Challenge is a faith based residential recovery program for substance abusers. Our church is one of their many sponsors. During their last visit, scrapbooking came up in one of the conversations with the ladies. After seeing how interested they all were, I spoke with one of the leaders and penciled in a date. I was very excited and wanted to share this opportunity with my 2 oldest nieces. I thought they'd enjoy it. I also went along with 2 other special girls from my church (Emily, my best friend and partner in crime, and my other good friend Mizz Keziah). We truly had a nice time. It felt really good to be able to give of my time to people who really appreciate it. I felt blessed. We have another trip planned and my group is very eager to go back! Love it! Well, I'm sure you all would love to see pictures however, due to privacy issues we couldn't take pictures so...instead I'm including a strip of photos we took at the mall where we ate lunch after the class (Southland Mall...Sal's Pizza YUMMO!) We had fun!

Will talk and post pics of my fun 4th of July in my next post! Soon, I promise!
